The Kingswood Arms, Banstead

The Sunday roasts were excellent. The whole roast chicken for two, with yorkshires and multiple veg was huge and tasty. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely go back another day of the week, to try the main menu.

Food is unreal, everytime I've been, which is a lot.
WHY DOES NO ONE GO THERE FOR BREAKFAST?! I've been 3 times now and been the only one there. Its really lovely food and great coffee.

Very good food, and the waitress was great. But the hostess was very rude and made us feel unwelcome. We had asked the waitress if we could relocate to another, smaller table, which she kindly allowed. I also needed a different chair. We then saw the hostess chewing out the waitress for all to see. Then the hostess chewed US out for changing tables and chairs, explaining how much we inconvenienced her. She did that THREE times, each time ended with, "but it's OK." Made it difficult to enjoy the outstanding food.

Nice pub. Pretty busy on a Saturday night but lots of space in the restaurant. Food very good.

Unexpectedly very nice food on a rather cold and blustery day. Cosy with very welcoming staff.

First visit to the pub, the decor was beautifully festive and the food was great. We were really let down by the service which was disappointing as we were the first table there. We had to ask where our drinks were, ask how long our food would be and wait a long time throughout. We were also told that the specials menu and the burgers were sold out but we saw several other people with these food options.
As a table of 7 in a mostly empty pub I can’t understand why the service was so poor on this occasion.

Lovely pub, food was great and delicious, nice beers and the service was excellent.
I loved the deco, the atmosphere and we'll definitely go back again.
