This is my friend’s birthday! He chose this one because of the high ratings.

Nice food with big portions. I love the banofee pie with ice-cream very much. We had happy chatting and nice meal time here!

Great place for a Sunday roast . Best I have had for a long time. The pudding was lovely to and because we where quite full from the roast we have children pudding. But to be honest they where a great size and enough. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Would go back again.

Fabulous little village pub with exceptionally friendly and caring staff, delicious food, enormous portions and best of all - dog friendly! Would suggest to ring them and book a table, as on peak times it gets really busy!

I absolutely loved this pub, it took me back in time to my childhood! Dog friendly! The food was amazing, hot, fresh and plenty of it! Staff were friendly and made us very welcome! Would highly recommend 5*

Amazing country pub. Super friendly and inviting atmosphere. I can't believe the staggering amount of stuff hanging everywhere. Something of interest for everyone. We went out there for a Sunday roast, and being a greedy pig I asked for the large size! And man it was large, it well and truly beat me. But it did not go to waste, they boxed it up for me and I finished it the next day. Booking recommended.

Such a great pub with excellently kept beer. The food portions are huge and great value. The staff are brilliant and the manager is a real character.
Well worth a visit.

They serve a broad range of meals, dessert and drinks, with a specials menu that changes up semi-regularly.
The serve is warm, welcoming and brilliant overall.
With highly competitive prices, and very large and generous portion sizes you would be hard pressed to find better.
