I'm gonna give it 5 stars for the price of food and beer. You can get a pint for £2.50 or less. The service is great, friendly staff. Some of the furniture could use some work, but it's fine!

Down to earth pub, with busy bar due to its good value prices and excellent value meal deals, that fill you up!
Yesterday was curry club, got naan, 2 poppadoms, chutney, curry and rice with a JD and coke for £8.10 my wife had scampi, chips and mushy peas with Bacardi and coke bill was under £16 as you can see enjoyed every bit. Needed the walk home, properly full.

Standard 'Spoons, but you can't argue with the price of a pint. Drank a nice Admiral's Reserve from Woodforde Brewery when we visited, and the staff were very attentive. Unlikely we'll be in that area again, but would definitely visit if so.

My 2nd visit and it was a bit of mixed bag. The menu's have the tiniest print so reading them was a challenge. I asked the girl behind the bar if she could read it for me and she was reluctant to tell me what the breakfast menu consisted of because of allergies. Yeah, make sense of that if you can. Well, I was hungry so I ordered whatever the breakfast menu was. They really need a dedicated waitress to clean away the dirty dishes, nothing is less appetizing than sitting at the only available table looking at the last customers leavings. Facing the toilets was not the most pleasant of experiences, either. After about 25 minutes my food arrived and it was a good sized portion, hot and well presented. The eggs were a little undercooked, American restaurants ask how you want your eggs cooked. Here, it's sunny side up only. Runny side up in this case. I'd have to rate them somewhere between so-so and adequate. The place seems more suited to cater to drinkers as opposed to diners. Did somebody say 'Just eat?' Perhaps not here.

Not the best Wetherspoon's you will find...although a reasonable priced pint of ale is usually guaranteed. Staff are generally polite, however, the atmosphere is somewhat subdued. This may because it is in a fairly conservative area, although this does ensure that any Riff-Raff is kept to a minimum. Overall, worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.

We came here for breakfast at 09.10 on a Friday morning. We ordered and paid via the app. Somebody came to our table to tell us the Chef hadn't turned up yet and offered us a refund which would be credited to our card in 5 or 10 minutes. 3 days later we have yet to get our card refunded. We went to the next Weatherspoon a fee door's down only to be told that their kitchen was not open as well. It clearly states on their menus that breakfast is served from 08.00. We were very disappointed and not sure if/when we will be refunded.

Me, breakfast , Weatherspoons, Essex, early on a Sunday morning. What were they thinking with my reputation! Joking aside, a decent little cooked breakfast with coffee refills at a ridiculous cheap price. Couldn't believe how busy it was before 10am on a Sunday with many of the tables with blokes on their own nursing their pints.

Came here one Sunday evening and almost every table was fully of empty glases and empty plates and food remnants that must have been lurking for hours. Bar staff were just stood there chatting and once I did ask if our table could be cleaned, the girl from behind the bar very begrudgingly wiped about a quarter of the table clean, smirked at us and walked off. Yuk!
