I came here a few times when working away in Woking. They had the eat out to help out deal on at the time the 3 plates for £10 is good. Recommend getting that if your not sure what you want to eat. I also recommend the breakfast as well

All fine, friendly staff, clean pub, ridiculously low prices as usual. Good breakfast, comfortable surroundings and numerous real ales. Would happily recommend.

Typical Wetherspoons, decently decorated, decent food and drink. Whenever I'm in a place I don't know, I head for a whetherspoons as they all keep to a standard. Best feature of this one is the statue of to invisible man.

Great manager and assistant manager who always go above and beyond. Can be a little rowdy on Friday and Saturday nights (what town centre pub doesn't?) but it's always handled professionally and courteously where possible.
Good team!

I just arrived by 22:45 and they told me that the kitchen would close by 23:00. Which was fine cause i still had time to order. When I was ordering at the bar, the manager came in a very rude way and said that the kitchen was closed, cause it closes by 23:00. And it was 22:55!!! Plus, you should not do that to a customer when you are almost in the payment step (cause the employer accepted it and was registering it...). I won't come back.

A standard looking 'spoons at first view. However, there is a wonder (not so successfully) hidden within. The pub is very much a tribute to H. G. Wells. On the outside, the name of the pub is not displayed but is replaced with visions of his work. On the inside, he is present throughout, with possibly the main attractions being two circular skylights. One displaying extracts from his work and the other illustrating different aspects of time. For the latter, there is a switch on the nearby pillar to make it move. Wonderful place. The staff were friendly and helpful and the Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar.

I visited this pub for the first time, after playing top golf nearby. Unfortunately the topgolf place stopped serving food so we went on the hunt for somewhere that did. It was late, 11pm when we arrived but they were happy to serve food still. We got a round and something to eat. The food was great and cheap! Perfectly cooked medium rare steak and the lads tucked into burgers. The pub itself was large and had a nice atmosphere. It's a shame I'm not local otherwise I'll be in here most nights!

Clean and tidy Weatherspoons pub. Good choice of real ales, ciders and lagers. Remarkably reasonable prices. Lots of seating, big bar. Can't connect in the did as I didn't eat.
