Popped in for a couple of pints of Cider after a round of Golf. Greeted with friendly staff and the pub was clean and tidy. I decided to have a Roast Dinner and it was fantastic, reasonably priced and tasted great. Will definitely be returning.

Food was good, pub clean and inviting, but too many staff who continually tried to take our plates away while one of our party was still eating. As we were working out the bill quietly to ourselves, we discussed whether a service charge was included. The waiter who was standing by the bar very rudely interrupted and called over that there wasn't thereby suggesting that we needed to add it!
A shame as it's a nice pub.

2 drinks (large white wine and a pint of beer) and a packet of crisps £17.20!!
Young guy behind the bar was rude and spent nore time playing with his hair then pouring the drinks. Pub was empty too. Sad really as this used to be a great pub. Would make a nice half way stop for a dog walk but won't bother in future.

Lovely pub in the middle of nature! Amazing Sunday Roast and delicious bread and butter pudding with homemade custard

We had lunch booked for 6 adults and 1 toddler. We were a little late for our booking and had called ahead to let them know and they were very accommodating. Lovely friendly staff with excellent service. A great menu with tasty and high quality food. Excellent kids meal with really tasty large nuggets of delicious chicken fillet and a high chair provided. Great cosy pub with open fire and lovely atmosphere… would definitely recommend!

Lovely pub garden - very spacious with plenty of tables. Good roast dinner, a variety of options including for vegetarians. Homemade Yorkshire puddings which were good if slightly greasy. Decent value for money and quick service. Service could be friendlier; they seemed quite stressed, though this was during Sunday lunch. Disappointing to see nobody wearing face masks.

Booked a table for lunch for 3, courteous and friendly from the moment we got there, quick fantastic service, excellent food of generous proportions, fabulous puddings, warm atmosphere and even with “Omicron” around, the place was packed, felt like the good old days, definitely will return.

We stopped here as part of a Charity walk, great service and great drinks. The food being served looked great - just wish we could have stayed longer to get some!! Once we left we saw they had donated a substantial sum to our cause so thank you very much for that. A proper countryside pub and one I would defiantly recommend
