Really nice pub, right on the river. Good selection of local beers and ciders.

Good menu that includes gluten free options although not much of a lunch/snack menu.

Had the loaded chips that came with bacon mayo which was very tasty, would definitely go back again.

Awesome little pub in the Forest of Dean, tasty food and well priced.
We stopped by chance whilst kayaking, then went back by car for lunch the day after.
Loads of nice food, 1985 on tap and the view couldn't be better. Staff were very quick and attentive.
We'll be back!

Absolutely brilliant! The food is fantastic, the staff are amazing and the view is beautiful! Accessible by walk, car and river! The food was absolutely delicious like no joke out of this world. The portions were so generous and well priced and Michelin star quality! And the staff are so friendly and attentive. I’m leaving a review to let everyone know that they should go! 10/10!

Booked a dog-friendly table online and had a really lovely evening. Food was excellent - really good, hearty pub meals - and the service was wonderful. Even the dog was treated to his own little sausage dinner (he says 5 stars, but he is easily pleased...). Lovely views of the Wye to top it off. Highly recommended if you're visiting the area!

Helpful young staff pushed tables together so we could all sit together. Good menu for 2 vegans, 4 vegetarians , 2 carnivores and just sausages for the dogs. Good range of drinks.

Beautiful pub situated right on top of the water. Well decorated inside and feels very cosy! Their menu consists of locally sourced products great for all members of the family and they have the best vegan burger I think I've ever had for those who are like me and need the options (as well as onion rings that are also vegan). Fast service and overall enjoyable meal!

Wonderful Sunday roast. The staff were extremely welcoming to us and our little puppy. The food was outstanding. Excellent roast (the pheasant was a real highlight) with generous portions of vegetables. The sticky toffee pudding was also wonderful. Steven who served us was great and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place.

Our first visit on new year's day and was amazing! Great atmosphere, staff were all amazing very helpful and attentive.
Lager was lovely (Madri 👌) and the roast dinner was out of this world!! I had pheasant it was cooked perfectly, my partner had beef roast she said it was amazing, and my parents had pork and lamb both really enjoyed it.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Cannot wait to visit again soon👌👌👌👌.
