The Full Moon

Best Sunday roast I’ve had in such along time! I took my mum here for Mother’s Day, we both ordered the roast beef, served rare and it was absolutely delicious. The chef cooks everything from scratch and you can taste every ingredient - every single thing on the plate was second to none. We even managed a dessert and I have to say, make room for a dessert, they are so amazing. We experienced great service from start to finish from such friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable staff and the price was so reasonable too - 2 mains, 2 glasses of wine, 2 desserts and coffees for under £60… we so enjoyed ourselves and I highly recommend you try it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic food, generous portions and really great value. Always lots of fish and seafood options available. We were told that they receive a fresh delivery from Cornwall each day. We had dressed crab 🦀 😋 Delicious!

I have been to the Full Moon a few times just for drinks. I visited the pub today and had a great meal. I went for the fish platter which I would highly recommend. Lovely location and fantastic food.

If you’re looking for a pub with a great view overlooking fields, place is worth visiting. Food I ordered was shocking. Mozzarella and tomato salad for £11.50. For that price you expect decent mozzarella. The lettuce was not washed and had mud on the salad. Staff had the cheek to ask if I wanted the lettuce changed or a new plate. You’re made to feel like you’ve done something wrong by asking for the plate to be changed. Got a fresh plate back, with less lettuce and the lettuce on it still had dirt.

Great location, nice feel and a solid Sunday lunch. Beef in particular was good. Only mild downside was that when it got busier, the service really slowed down so we left without ordering desert. Overall recommended though.

Fantastic New Years Day Menu. Not all roasts! Have visited without kids before, and always been great, but to have a 10 yr old talk in terms of how's it's been the best seasoned burger he's ever tasted (!)
It will now become a New Year's event to visit. Great food, immaculate and attentive service. A complete gem of a pub. On point!

Just had the most perfect lunch at The Full Moon! Have never visited before and have been looking for another place to try since our local closed last year. It looks like we have found our forever pub, this place is amazing! Beautiful pub, friendly happy staff, a great pint and oh my goodness the food! Just delicious! Piping hot and arrived promptly. The bill in no way reflected the high standard we experienced so we left them a bit extra. Highly recommended 🙂
