Amazing value for money 💰 Had the Steak Fondue Challenge meal and it was excellent. The Steak was well cooked and my only criticism was the potato skins were a little over cooked & plain. They pub was lively but food came quickly, staff are really helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back ! PS also accept blue light card

Popped in for a quick bite before heading home to Glasgow, have to say it was really decent, we only had Mac n cheese and chicken strips with curry sauce but really enjoyed it, the staff were lovely, they've got a crackin play area outside for kids, or big kids I suppose

Had the chic less fillet burger
Couldn't eat what looked like pale sausages covered in something that hard I Couldn't bite them
One piece of lettuce I know the food is cheap but please this was inedible
The waitress was brilliant tho
Will come back again to give you another chance
But please either take this food off the menu or perhaps get someone to cook it properly

Good for a quick meal and drinks. Lovely staff. Food is typical pub fare, tasty and good value. Husband had the He who dares wings and said the spice level was nice but the scorpion wings were close to defeating him!

This popular national chain pub has a good size eating area as well as an outside area to the rear.
The food is standard pub food and reasonably priced.
There is parking around the pub and at busy times difficult to find a parking place.
The interior is clean and looks recently refurbished.

Nice pub and quiet busy on a rainy lunchtime. Scampi and chips and fish and chips usual Green King menu. Gammon served on a bed of onions which I didn't really think went well together but that's probably just me. Staff friendly

Arrived here 11.30 today whilst passing through the area. Staff lovely and friendly! I had the Chic N Mix combo, waffle fries and corn on the cob where amazing the mango and chilli thighs were borderline inedible the same as the boneless chicken wings(which a couple had a fishy taste). Most of the chicken as you can see by the photo was left.

I did get asked if the meal was ok but at that point i hadn't had a chance to try the chicken.

Unsure as to whether I'd try again

Went in for drinks only. Staff very friendly. Premises clean but cold. It was my first visit and therefore first impressions were important. May go there again when it gets warmer.
