We called the venue and at short notice went to eat at the venue. The pub is up a small access lane and the staff were absolutely excellent from entering the premises to serving our meals nothing was too much trouble. Georgie, Minnie and Molly thank you for your excellent food it was a pleasure to consume. The views out the window are spectacular. If you are looking for a local pub to sit down and eat try this venue. Worth a visit midweek as quieter and the lounge area a nice country kitchen look.

Quiet at Lunchtime as it was a Tuesday. So no delay in serving lunch from a decent Summer Menu. Reasonably priced Food and a good choice of Beers, backed up by an even bigger selection of Ciders. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend!!

A real community pub with something for the local community on most mornings. We were staying locally and called in the evening for a bite to eat. Not a very extensive menu but enough to satisfy the hungry traveller and all well cooked and delicious. The place on a wet Tuesday night was empty but the staff found the time to come and chat with us to make us feel welcome. I must add the beer garden, with the best views of Stroud and beyond. We couldn't take advantage of it due to the weather. A gem of a proper pub and restaurant and well worth seeking out.

Small but cosy village pub. We hold our Rotary meetings here. Food is tasty and generous portions. Warm welcome from the staff. In the summer there is a garden ovérlooking the Stroud valleys with an amazing view.
