This pub has been decorated to a good standard and is done very tastefully, after being empty for many years. The menu gives a great choice and excellent value for money. The food is nice and nicely presented on very pretty plates. Will be going there regularly from now on, and have been told we can take the dog to the outside seating area.

It also encourages to be safe and register for NHS Contact tracing system, so really nothing to complain about. The use of the app works perfectly. We got our orders within 12 minutes.

This was a relaxing pub to go for a drink with my friend at, having a well-presented counter with the fantastic addition of an ancient clock! The staff were friendly and took our orders in due time despite the busy period that wasn't really their fault, serving quality drinks which we enjoyed at a table. A nice view of the town is offered and the seating is comfortable, appropriately in a very clean pub!

Had breakfast 2 days running, both times service was quick, good value, quality good, only thing that let's it down is the bacon that looks raw, it's white & doesn't look appealing at all (please stick it on the grill! 🙏) & both days my eggs looked like someone else had got the other half as it was tiny & obviously not a whole egg, pancakes barely warm.

This is a beautiful pub. Decor is really lovely with lots of interesting blown glass pieces. Food is really good too. Probably my favourite Spoons in the North West.

It's OK. Typical Wetherspoon's. Lifeless atmosphere. Mediocre food. The ale selection is usually pretty good though but due to the lack of atmosphere you probably won't want to stay for another.
