After a morning at wingham wildlife we came across this charming country pub and absolutely fell in love with the place childhood memories of what pubs used to be like came flooding back. We had food which was lovely and played a few games of pool with our youngest son which was lots of fun. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. We look forward to returning and becoming regular customers. Thank you to the staff and regulars for making us feel so welcome

Lovely pub, lovely food lovely owners. They let us stay in the car park in our camper van because we had an early ferry the next morning. They made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

This is good pub for food and beer very warm welcome to visitors , Sunday dinner was really nice ,going again tonight (Wednesday) for tea before we move on to a new site tomorrow

Really nice pub, looks so good from car park walking in, it’s clean, had a good selection of beer, we didn’t have any food but many others were and it looked really tasty and well priced. Pool table & darts, so boys were entertained. Friendly country pub, will be returning again very soon

Steak night is ace. Two steak meals with all the trimmings for £20. Excellent food. Brilliant service. Superb value. Will be back.
