I’m really impressed by this venue. The service has been excellent. Georgia has been very attentive and the the food, I can’t fault any of it. It was creative and tasty. Luckily I’m staying near by so I can look forward to coming back tomorrow.

Superb food complimented by exemplary service. I've paid way more for less. This experience was outstanding.

Popped in for an unexpected visit with my husband and dog. I have some allergies and am vegetarian and the chef Paul and the lady who saw to us were really helpful and Paul created something for me that was safe but not on the weekend menu. They are very accommodating of pooches too with some water bowls and chilled water for us to help ourselves to and dog treats too. Quality of the food was very good, would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed a nice meal whilst catching up with friends , 2 chose the chicken and smoked pancetta pie with veg and mash , one had the caesar salad with flatbread and I had a burger with haloumi and salad , all thoroughly enjoyed , staff very pleasant , will be recommending to other friends

Apologies if no picture...the ribeye I ordered was very good. I wanted rare and and I got rare. I ordered some side veg too...actually a double portion.
The food was really nice. Well cooked.
Venue was warm and cosy, music isn't too loud, so you can hear the ambient voices.
I picked my premier inn because of this place and I'm not disappointed.
Megan and Lindsay server me, and they were both friendly and warm welcoming.

I'd come back for sure.

Amazing meals here. Went for a Christmas meal. Table was decorated with Christmas crackers. Set meal for either 2 or 3 courses.
Roast belly pork was so tasty and melt in the mouth.
Apple pie and custard is fabulous too, very tasty.
Such a lovely atmosphere in the pub as well.

Popped in for some lunch on a really cold wet and windy day. Megan seated us by the fire and added a log to keep it going which was lovely. I had the hot beef sandwich which was okay but a little dry , the toasted bread could do with some butter. Fries were delicious! Other half had a pizza which was really good. Both Megan and Tiele (behind the bar) were friendly, welcoming, very smiley and both clearly enjoy their jobs. We’ll be back soon but for the fish finger sandwich next time 😉

The restaurant is beautiful, warm and very welcoming. We were having a special meal and we needed a great place to go. And we were not disappointed. We were served immediately despite the waiting staff being very very busy as there were some large parties having their celebrations. The waiting staff are amazing. They looked after us, let us know when there would be a longer wait and made sure our meals were good. The food was fantastic and plentiful. We all enjoyed our meals. Thank you
