Fantastic little place. A country pub from a bygone age and well done for all involved for the fact that it still exists. Tiny, cosy, warm, friendly and welcoming. Looks great for walks in the Spring/Summer and home cooked food in the Autumn/Winter. Chanced upon it, will definitely be back.

Randomly stopped here on a bike ride when I ran out of steam. Beer is good and the local crowd tip-top, they made me feel very welcome, looking forward to my next ride when I'm sure I'll run out of steam again!

Found this pub whilst out cycling. Had a very warm welcome from both staff and locals. A proper country pub with a nice garden area outside.
Food was nice and would recommend to anyone passing by.

Lovely old fashioned pub built in the 1600s that hasn't changed much. There's a lunchtime menu throughout the week and Sunday roast

Very very local atmosphere also with excellent integrity of the Proprieters.
Overall a quaint respectable venue and well worth a wander into the Frieth Bush to meet the Frieth local Bushmen 😘 and Landlady (and Lion Cat) and family.

Intriguingly,,a quiet respectable homely atmosphere .

Well done is all i can say !

I have been visiting this pub now for over 40 years and to date, have always found it to be friendly. It has a nice family garden in which to enjoy a pint come a summers evening, and sometimes even some horses and donkeys in a field next to the garden. The pub itself has a nice relaxed sit down and chat style to it, without the need for any loud music. If you intend on visiting, tell them Cameron recommend you :-)
