I arrived and the table was set in a quiet corner next to a blazing stove. I was happy for this as it was a.chilly summers evening.
The staff are very welcoming and the young waitress couldn't do enough to help.
I wasn't aware of your dog policy and was very pleased to see you allowed well behaved dogs in the bar.
The meals were very good
Pie of the day - very nice
Fish and chips- probably the best fish and chips I have ever had. If I could complain it would be that a more generous portion of chips could accompany the fish.
I recommend this pub as very good and worth a visit.

Very accommodating and helpful staff. Pub serves some great ale and food was decent. Very reasonably priced and they have basic (but surprisingly comfortable) bunk beds for large groups to stay.
They also have a 16 seater minibus (with driver) you can hire for trips.
All in all, for the price, you can't fault the place. Well done everyone at the Colliers Inn.

The new owners are doing a great job of refinishing the pub and bunkhouse.
Good food and beer very friendly and helpful.
Hopefully once the bunkhouse is done there will be a kitchen area as not everyone who stays will eat in the pub.

After reading reviews we expected a lot better than we got. Went for Sunday lunch, the pub was really busy which we took to be a good sign but found it not to be. Our food was very poor. Roast chicken with stuffing was our order. It came minus the stuffing and Yorkshire pudding, with no apology from anyone. It turned out to be a very poor meal.

Friendly little pub that we popped into for a quick refresher after riding the Forest of Dean on the hottest day of the year.
Nice and friendly staff and clients in a cracking location for activities (and they offer accommodation upstairs too!)

Second time we've stayed whilst mountain biking in Cannop. Great place to stay and a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning.
