The Bell Inn

Nice village pub, great garden space. Had a fantastic evening with local friends after making a special trip from Essex. Many thanks to Ethan for being a great waiter very professional and friendly. Good atmosphere food is good but not award winning. Would return.

We held a gathering of friends and family after my father's funeral. What an amazing place, staff were wonderful and helpful and the food was superb. Thank you to Vince and his staff for making the end of his day so special x

We visited this evening for a birthday meal for my husband with my in-laws and daughter. We had the warmest welcome upon our arrival which was a really nice start to our evening. It was fairly busy for a Monday night and the staff were working extremely hard, with a smile and this created a nice warm atmosphere. We didn't know about the Pie and Pudding special which was such great value for money, with a great choice of hearty pies and even more puddings to choose from. The food was piping hot, very generous portions and absolutely delicious. Some of us also ordered from the main menu and there was something for everyone. We will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed eating at The Bell this week, the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very tasty with generous portions but also very reasonably priced. Will absolutely be back again soon.

We visited for lunch yesterday. Right from the start we knew we'd chosen well with a warm welcome from Vince. We chose fairly simple things from the menu, and certainly weren't disappointed. The food was hot, beautifully cooked and tasted wonderful. I was impressed by the service from Wendy- she even packaged up the leftover bits for my son to feed his chickens with. All in all it was a lovely experience, and I'd highly recommend this pub.

We arrived for our Christmas dinner to find a wonderfully decorated table for 15 and emediately thought of how nice the food might be. We wasn’t disappointed the food was lovely and hot the turkey cooked to perfection and the portion sizes for all courses were very generous. The service was very good Vince greeted us and showed us to our table. The waiting staff were also very good no complaints at all. All of my family were so pleased and enjoyed the experience very much.

We came on Saturday 10th December for a meal. Have not been here before. What a lovely pub and restaurant, friendly atmosphere, the food was really nice, very reasonably priced. Will definitely come back again.

The Bell Inn is a lovely pub - great staff and interesting customers. My wife and I eat there regularly and the food is excellent value for money, especially Monday pie night. (In fact, we've had the best prawn cocktail ever there!) Also dog friendly with lots of treats for them. (We do not understand the negative views on Tripadvisor - it's not been our experience and we use this pub regularly.) Keep up the good work! Phil & Margaret - and Dodger and Morgan.
