Lovely old traditional pub. Also does nice food. Check out the beer garden with canal frontage.

Very friendly small pub, with lots of regulars/locals. Called in during a hike, and chose to enjoy the sun by sitting in the yard/garden which overlooks the canal. Shared an excellent (large) pork pie with my wife, as well as a pint for me, and cider for her. Well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

A small pub backing onto the canal. Good food, good beer, and good hospitality. A genuine traditional pub. Shame there aren't more like this. Would highly recommend.

I have passed this pub many times never thought to go in. What a missed opportunity great place. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Thanks for a good start to Xmas. It reminded me of the old country pubs I used to use.
