The Star Inn

Lovely food and no long wait despite it being busy. Relaxed atmosphere and the children loved the new improved play area. Great value with the "Eat out to help out". Going again next week.

This is the best family pub I've been to. The food was good, the pub is lovely and the best part is the outside. It has a big outdoor space, a huge area which is under cover great for outdoor eating and being protected from the sun and it has a lovely play area for kids with more outdoor seating if you'd like to get some sunshine. We need more family restaurants like these in greater London/Surrey! We were a group of 30 of which the majority were children. The pub was very accomdating and the parents were happy because the children could play. 😀

Brilliant place to stay,value for money, the staff couldn't do enough for us,we stayed here 4th September 2022, I had booked two rooms, both were on the first floor, my Auntie is Disabled and couldn't do the stairs, and they gave us one of the bungalows on the ground floor and gave me £10 back ! The room's were spotless, and Breakfast was lovely, 10 out of 10 all round. I will definitely stay here again, and highly recommend staying at the star Inn 🌟 🙂

The food was okay but not great. Service is rather impersonal but polite. I would recommend sitting outside if you have young children as there is a super play area. It was a little noisy for us but inside seemed better if you are looking for a quite meal. We had the Sunday roast. It wasn’t bad but slightly disappointing as there were elements missing (such as the carrots and apple sauce which were listed on the menu). Cutlery is help yourself but the baskets were empty. Overall it was okay but I wouldn’t heartily recommend it and we wouldn’t choose to go back. Nice pint of Guinness though.

Lovely cosy country pub with a great range of food and drink. Staff were very friendly and helpful and service was prompt. We had one of the BEST meals I've had in any restaurant in a long time! Beautifully cooked pan-seared salmon, followed by creme brulee - I very much recommend them both! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good food and beer selection. Large outdoor seating area. Best of all large play area for my 4 year old grandsons

One of my favourite places for catching up with friends, particularly pre-Christmas. I’ve also stayed in their cabins a number of times, which are clean and perfectly comfortable. Lovely food and breakfast, too. Thank you.
