Very generic beers. Asked if they had any bottled craft beers, other than the one, 'neck oil' on draught and bar person said 'what'?
She didn't know the term 'craft beers'.
I've lived down the road from this pub for 20 years and nothing ever changes. Seems to suit the young regulars , which is fine.

So got there for 11am, stated opening time but had to attract the attention of the owner who said "I'd forgotten the time" that's ok... We then sat down to be allowed to start a conversation to be told: A we don't have any Milk for Tea or Coffee. B we don't have a chef today.... So we had to leave, sorry I won't be rushing back.

This pub advertises rugby matches on its website, so I phoned up and booked a table for the Eng vs NZ game. When I arrived and asked for my table, the barmaid looked at me like I was mental. Apparently they *don't* reserve tables for you and you just pick one that's free (fortunately there were lots available but I'm not sure what would have happened if all were occupied?).
We asked if they were doing food and the two staff members had no idea, just looked at each other in bewilderment (if you were working Saturday night wouldn't you know this? One of them had to go to the kitchen and ask).
Anyway, the rugby was starting in 30 minutes and they assured us that it would be on the TVs. Kick off came and went and nothing happened - the two staff members just didnt have a clue what was going on. A load of us left because we knew it was a hopeless cause and they weren't very interested in helping us. They were nice but useless. The pub seems like it could be a good place but its too disorganised for me to bother exploring again. Dont advertise rugby on your website if you dont intend to put it on.

I personally didn't rate the choice of drinks on offer but it caters for a younger male crowd if that's your thing. Couldn't fault the service, nor the prices.
