While retaining it's traditional exterior, the inside has been sensitively and tastefully updated, and is a pleasure to be in. Friendly locals who will happily chat to visitors, and welcoming down to earth landlord. An often overlooked little stop off for bikers like me who want a quick fizzy pop. Parking round the back. Landlord (Gary) likes good manners and respect for his customers, and I like him!😃

Don't dislike it, says it's a free house there was only 2 ales on! Nice and clean, landlord friendly. Disappointed with the ales. Personally wont go there again. But nothing wrong with the pub, not 4 me.

Twelve years since I was last in with my brother and his wife, liked it then, like it now, just something about the place, highly recommend it.
