Food was awsome but wish the staff members would listen to there customers properly when ordering, as my order was wrong, the rice was like bloody rubber tonight, think coming here every Thursday is getting too much

Always a good stop for a quick low cost breakfast and an unlimited refill coffee on a morning. It's always busy in the conservatory and you go get a few locals who designate their seats, so beware of the elders who may snap up your chair if you pop to the lou! The staff are always smiley and friendly and the atmosphere always lovely.

This is a nice pub. Food is good. Staff are alright, must be a tiring role with the state of some regulars I saw.

The one less star is for the mixed grill.

There's a fine line between cooking meat so customers can enjoy it and lobbing meat on a flame grill until obliterated beyond all taste.
All meat was dry, overcooked, thin and foul to eat. Avoid it.
(I asked for a rare steak and I'd rather have been told the truth that the slice of steak is as "thin as bacon" and comes 'as is' rather than receiving what looked like last the petrified remains of last Christmases abandoned gingerbread house.....sigh, I was so excited for it too. No matter.

Buttermilk chicken burger is delicious though. Deffo have that, I've had a couple.

Pub is very clean. Good selection of beers and real ales. The food was really nice and arrived very quickly. Staff pleasant and friendly.

I went in on Christmas day with my family's dog. No notifications on the door to say other wise when I was made to look like a criminal and told in front of the whole bar to get out. Merry Christmas everywhere but in this pub.

It's not amazing but it's ok and it's the cheapest place around. Don't expect high class when you can get a beer and a meal for a little over a fiver.

They sold out of neaps on burns week. Little disappointing but no big deal.

I eat and drink here regularly. It's not great but it's ok and it's cheap.

Emily is a credit to the company!
I was allowed to try a couple before I bought and settled on the Eagle APA, (would recommend!).
The pub/restaurant was clean with some interesting artefacts on the walls. The frontage is impressive and looks like a country pub despite the concrete jungle.
I sat in the conservatory which was well lit due to the amount of glass. Not too impressed with the shields though!

We went for a meal at the Sir Nigel Gresley last night. My husband had a curry (it was curry club night) and I had a steak. Both were lovely and the service was very quick. We would definitely return again.
