The Plough Inn

A great pub for lunch. Our meals were really yummy and pub dog, Zena was charming company. The pub is decorated with spitfire memorabilia because it was a base for a Polish regiment during WWII. There's a memorial in the grounds so it's a good mix of interesting stuff, good hearty food and alcohol. Plenty of parking and stuff for kids to play with.

Perfect place for a Sunday pub lunch. Plenty of great outside with things to pay on for the kids. Friendly staff and really good food.

Great pub with good food and well kept ale. Able to cater for horse riders as well as cyclists and other travelers. Also has a memorial to RAF Chailey in the garden and information on the Polish squadrons who flew from there. Interesting as well as enjoyable.

Every fourth Sunday classic car owners are invited to bring their cars to the plough to show them off. I saw today's event mentioned on a Facebook page , so I took my car. Met some very friendly people. The pub is very fond of Spitfires, as the Polish air force had an airfield close by during WW2.

Absolutely love this pub! It’s my favourite pub, I come here often with my friends and family. The beer is very reasonable and the food is reasonable and excellent. To top it all off staff are friendly and Zena the pub dog is very warm and welcoming and a great asset to the pub. Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous country pub, lovely garden and play area for the kids plus amazing food, the burger was delicious. We will definitely be going back.

Decent, honest food at a reasonable price, friendly service, huge grassy garden including benches, climbing frames, slides and swings, brilliant for kids on a sunny day

Nicole & her team work incredibly hard, the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Drinks too....and make sure you save room for dessert!
