An incredible pub with an excellent, changing menu filled with local food and produce. Beautifully cooked meals in a friendly, village pub complete with a duck pond and plenty of outdoor garden seating. The food was well above what you’d expect at an average pub. It was simply superb, all four of us agreed. Fresh, well put together ingredients. Great flavours and good portions. Each main course was delicious, and all the puddings were home made, beautifully presented snd sublime. We all said we’d go back there to eat. The service was great and it was all reasonably priced. All in all a great evening.

Had a lovely dinner here to start our anniversary weekend. Really friendly and professional staff, starters and lot’s of classic bistro favourites on the menu. Everything is prepared with thought and care by hand. Portions were large and the dishes we chose were very rich so sadly couldn’t finish all the food! Thoroughly recommend!

Excellent pub, excellent food, excellent service run by an excellent couple... absolutely fabulous. Lovely place to have a meal and a drink with easy parking and a brilliant beer garden by the village pond. Has a welcoming atmosphere. And well worth every penny. You'd be hard pressed to find another eatery of this quality this side of the river Deben..

Wow! What a lovely pub. The food was incredible, the best nut roast I've ever had and a delicious apple crumble. Couldn't recommend enough, dog friendly too! Thank you

Visited green man inn. No booking and seated straight away. I ordered the burger. It comes with cheese but I opted for without. Had bacon, salad and pickles and it was absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had.
The chips were amazing. They were crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle, not greasy. I will definitely be returning to try some other dishes from the menu!

Always a brilliant menu, full of interesting choices. Never can decide what start to have out of it all! Chef Dan cooks every meal superb, especially his variety of fish dishes!
Lovely warm homely feel to the bar with a good selection of real ales, largers and gins.

Superb food, great selection of beers and wine, friendly welcoming staff, a superb chef and a very comfortable pub environment. One of the best pubs in Suffolk. Highly recommended!
