The owner was very welcoming despite our accompanying dog and wild child (terrible twos). Food was nice and suitably priced. The dog was even given a bone by the landlord.

I really like the crown, having been several times. The cask beer is well kept, and also local . The menu has variety too and is of a good standard considering. There are two levels, and plenty of good nooks and crannies for groups. Events are also held in the garden. Favourite pub in Oxted.

Stopped at this pub after a walk around the oxted area,

Great little boozer with very friendly staff and a brilliant atmosphere. (seemed as though it was run by a family which is always the sign of a good pub)

We only had desserts here but the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fudge cake were delicious.

The beer garden is also huge and has a play area for small children so i imagine it's a great place to bring kids as well.

They also pour a very good gunniess!

Lovely little pub. Popped in late Sunday lunch after a gruelling tennis match, pleasantly surprised by very reasonable prices and good quality food. Bit of a wait to get the food but short staffed in kitchen so understandable. Friends were very impressed with the vegan chilli! And those gorgeous bowls ….

The food was lovely, we opted for the Chef's special of Lamb Kofta and Halloumi on flat bread. This was served with potato wedges (home made) and salad, yum! What made the experience even better were the lovely ladies that looked after us, amazing and a credit to the business. When you visit ask for a tour if the original downstairs bar and be told the spooky story that goes with it. I'll say no more 😀

Delicious Cajun Chicken salad; the flavours blended so well together. Just the light lunch I was hoping for. I had a wander around the lovely garden with different seating areas, and a great children's playground. And attentive service. A happy visit.

A fantastic garden play area for children, they loved it and didn't want to leave. A wooden bus, pirate boat, wobbly bridges, two slides and a basket swing. The food was really good, I'd recommend the halloumi burger. It feels like a family run pub which is even better. Friendly and helpful staff.
