Lovely proprietor and barman. Good ale selection plus port. Traditionally a booze only pub, but doing a limited pub grub selection for the current climate. We had scampi, chips and peas each plus I had breaded mushrooms. They were crisp, dry and tasty. The best of their type I have had in ages. A lovely, relaxed evening

Handy pub on the edge of Beccles. Good range of beers and if you like rum this is the place as there are specialist rums to be had. Seating outside is by the road although not too busy. Live music when we visited so inside was full.

Friendly welcome. Great range of well kept real ales. Very clean for what seems to be a drinkers pub. 2 pool tables and a dart board. Could only see a burger menu. Car park for about a dozen cars. Clean loos.

Most definitely my favourite pub ever!! Great selection of drinks all round, and if you ever feel stuck what to drink just ask the landlord Ian, he has an extensive knowledge on all local ales, beers and spirits and especially rum. I would go as far to say he is a bit of a rum conoseur. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and dog friendly too! An all round perfect boozer! 👌🏻🍻
