Very nice, as were catering for big numbers of people was excellent. Excellent meal, excellent service, all for a good price. Most enjoyable

I would never visit again started with children being wheeled inand out of the kitchen then a cold meal of burnt fish and the most disgusting chips I have any tasted the gammon was salty for nearly £40 I am sure they could do better !!

Popped in for Sunday lunch - no booking. Food was very good, staff pleasant. GVFM.

I want to contextualize Google's idea that this pub is '££'. For example, fish and chips will set you back 20 quid.

(You certainly get a square meal, I think the staff were being generous.)

So, do not go in there expecting chain prices; probably it's an independent. It's quite unfair that Google could be sending people in with the wrong expectations.

This place is for people who like their eating out and aren't on a tight budget. For that audience I think it will do fine.

We had been racing at Silverstone all day and our friend Chris recommended this place, highly recommend to anyone thinking of going, lovely staff and really good service and food!

Been here several times and the food is just amazing. Staff are always so helpful and friendly.

This is a lovely family run modern country pub, serving excellent food, with the added bonus of a pizza oven, I didn't try one but they looked amazing!
The menu is very accommodating and has an excellent variety of food.
I really enjoy my meal here and would recommend a visit to couples, families and groups of friends.
I will be going back very soon.

Our hotel restaurant was closed for the evening so headed into Towcester, we had booked and were greeted by a young friendly member of staff who showed us to our table.
We were sat next to a wood fired pizza oven and looked over the menu which had something for everyone's taste, I had the prawn and crayfish starter which was presented in a magnificent metal crab 🦀 then followed by the ribs and my wife had the gammon and son the pizza.
The ribs were to die for and had definitely been cooked with love, the gammon was extremely tasty and pizza amazing. Homemade chips and onion rings were the crowning jewels on a great meal 😋 not forgetting the sticky toffee pudding with Homemade ice cream. Bill for all this with 5 drinks was under £90 so great value for money.
