Haven't been for a few years but I have to say we all really enjoyed our Sunday lunch.
All staff very nice and helpfull.
Recommend book a table in advance because they got quite busy.

This used to be a place we visited regular and met with friends, but on arrival (I had booked our table due to work and it was our Anniversary) was told the menu we wanted had not been served for last 2 hours but she would go check with the kitchen staff, it does say this menu is available up until 8pm then Chinese, on her return we were told she had a few choice words but if we could be quick and order it was okay, feeling this could of been put more politely and also we felt rushed then and customer service wasn't what we have experienced there before. The dog was lovely

A pub that is a canal side delight in the summer. Inside dated decor attempting to recreate time past. Young bar staff who do their best to provide good service. Incomplete menu. Cheap food but pleasant deserts. Land lady who likes to let you know she's the boss!
Pleasant evening with friends. Unlikely to return in my own.

Just been to the pub for a drink and meal, they found us a quiet table as our dog is nervous being a rescue. The staff were so welcoming and courteous, food was really nice, fish and chips and gammon aswell as pudding, good size portions. We eat out regularly when travelling and would recommend a visit here. Thanks for making our dog welcome.

Cosy canal side pub with large beer garden offering food and drink.
Food and service was great.
Not many in when I went but it was a Tuesday afternoon in November but gets busy in the warmer months.
Well worth a visit

Lovely canalside pub, out in the sticks. Nice food, but when we went there, they had underestimated the demand and were very under staffed, so the service was very slow. The poor woman behind the bar(on her own, bless her) managed to stay calm and polite despite the obvious frustration from the customers. Really nice location and lovely ambiance. I'll be back.

I was staying at the nearby campsite and I ate here two nights in a row with my partner. The food is excellent. Obviously not bought in from Brakes and reheated. We are from the English menu the first night and came back the next to try the Chinese. It was really impressive. The staff were friendly and attentive and there was live music. The place was pretty full. So book ahead. A fantastic find in my book and I’ll be there again if I’m in the area

Walked from the Camping and Caravanning site … we were warmly welcomed and was lovely and toasty inside.
The food was amazing we went with the Chinese menu … totally incredible we will be back when next at site.
When leaving a lit up tractor as we left.
Thank you x
