A great evening sitting outside the pub. Plenty of parking and very polite and helpful staff. Menu looked reasonable although I didn't eat here tonight, however, everything being delivered looked good. Cannot book tables outside and dog friendly in a fairly tight bar area with a couple of tables. Restaurant understandably people only. A mature group here not too many kids at all.

Lovely family meal. Kids burgers were good. Fish and chips a winner and toad in the hole special really hit the spot.

Food was excellent with good portion sizes (they have a carvery too), nice atmosphere in the restaurant too.

Divine Carvery!
Suggest book in advance.
We were seated quickly, served promptly and service was excellent.
Staff are very attentive, polite and helpful.

The food was outstanding, everything was cooked beautifully and incredibly tasty. Far and away better than the popular carvery option.

They do a good carvery... Always hit and miss regarding when you rock up to how fresh veg is etc but on this occasion, most things were good enough quality.
Desserts were fine but all brought in.
Not really a place for fine dining but more than suitable for a good meal out.

WOW !!
Been going elsewhere for a carvery which we love, but just wanted to try somewhere different this weekend.
Lamb, real roast potatoes and so many different vegetables what a treat to have that.
I love veg so literally piled it on my plate as I was giddy with excitement.
To say the carvery was amazing is an understatement, it was delicious, everything on my plate was delicious, 10/10 for me and cannot wait to go again.
The staff were amazing, very hands on, the place itself was clean with a lovely decoration.
The Sunday carvery is £14.95 but don't let that put you off because it is well worth that, the choice of meats and vegetables are outstanding and you get Yorkshire pudding, stuffing balls and mini sausages, the gravy is also superb.
My photos don't do it justice, I was greedy and piled it on 😊

Visited in October for a carvery lunch after recommendations from friends and we weren't disappointed.
Situated just off the A380, the Ten Tors is a large pub and restaurant serving St Austell and Dartmoor breweries ales.
The welcome and attentive service was first class with plenty of available staff who checked if all was OK and answered questions about the Christmas menu.
The lunchtime carvery was good with, served meats and help yourself vegetables, potatoes and yorkie puds.
It's boasts a large dining area with decorated furniture and two fireplaces.
What impressed us both was the hand sanitiser at each table and the plastic gloves provided for use with the carvery spoons. Good covid-19 controls were evident all around including the toilets which were clean and well managed.
Dessert was excellent although limited and there is an extensive car park and play area which was open for entertaining the kids, we plan to return again soon.
Thanks for a pleasant experience!

Thank you to Luke and the wonderful team for an excellent New Year’s Evening.
Excellent atmosphere and a good band.
From the welcome to the midnight fireworks everything was done to ensure we had an enjoyable time - again thank you to the guys attending to the tables and the crew behind the bar.
One final mention to the head chef and team - the hot buffet was exceptional!
