Sunday Roast with a pal - and her dog was welcome too! Food was fab and tea/coffee in the garden afterwards was lovely. Highly recommended.

Love the Star, we would probably go as far as to say it’s in our top 3 pubs of all time. The beer selection is second to none. The landlord and landlady are amazing, so much fun and so friendly, which is definitely something you want in a pub and encourages you to come back time and time again. Finally it just has such a nice feel and atmosphere to it, the punters are always happy, smiley and friendly and the layout just screams proper pub. If you only had time to visit one pub in this area, I would say give this one a go. Finally we love their nachos!!!

Absolutely love this little pub. As wonky as you would hope on the inside, lovely beer garden and welcoming to all. Wonderful beers on tap and cask - bar staff nice and knowledgeable when I started asking about all the gins.

Brilliant little pub. Plenty of guest ales and ciders. Fantastic beer garden with fore pits and plenty of cover. Even a small screen for the football in the garden for when you need that fresh air but it's not quite half time yet! Foods also good BTW.

Loved this very old pub! Very nice and friendly staff, and it was so nice how old and authentic the pub felt. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore! Had a great Guiness. We also tried the camembert bites which were tasty, but not incredible. I'm sure their mains and roasts would have been more impressive. Great place overall, would love to go back if in Godalming again!

My wife and I went to this place on a Wednesday right around 5:00 p.m. it was a bit quiet when we arrived but we were greeted by the friendly bartender and who I assumed to be the owner. Both were very nice to us and instructed us to grab a table since most of the restaurant was still empty at this point. The menu offered a variety but we chose to get nachos and a burger for each of us. I myself got the Farm burger and my wife got the cheeseburger. Both burgers and the nachos were great! I cannot stop talking about how good the nachos were! The food portion was great and the quality was great as well. My wife had a ginger cider and she thought it was great. The decor of the place was really unique and nice to look at. As the evening progressed, more and more people arrived at the pub and it became livelier. Totally didn't mind that at all. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

Best roast dinner ! We had the lamb and pork . We pre ordered when we booked. Friendly staff , prompt service and yummy food . Highly recommend

Served by Meghan. She was lovely, friendly, attentive and made excellent recommendations. People could choose to eat inside or outside and there was plenty of space.

The interior of the pub was extremely interesting and it was great to have beer mats on the ceiling. it is worth have a look around as the interior is unique. Furthermore, it is evident that much attention has been paid to the pub's exterior.

The prices were extremely reasonable and the menu was varied. They offered excellent starters as well as a great variety of burgers. The portions are generous and presented nicely.

I recommend this place. The food was excellent, the interior of the place was great and the levels of service could not have been better.
