Visited this pub for a party in a function room. The room was cold and very dated. The toilets had no way to dry your hands.

The DJ supplied by the pub was absolute garbage.. he was told to play newer songs but repeatedly played songs from decades ago.

I'd not have my party here 😒

It was my grandsons 18th birthday 🎂 party 🎉 and we had the function room with a disco 🕺 What a fantastic evening we all had. The staff were lovely and so helpful with the small kids. I highly recommend anyone needing to find somewhere for a special occasion to try here.

Lovely pub good landlord and children friendly....not many pubs can say JOE COCKER played there before he did Woodstock.....big stage for bands....check it out coop and Jayne are fantastic

Fantastic pub, friendly management made my evening more enjoyable.

What an amazing night we had at this place tonight went to see Ella an amazing talent that somehow defeated all the technical difficulties and gave me and my family a fantastic night. The bar staff are extremely attentive and friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them. I wish the new landlady jo and Andy every success

Had never been to this establishment before until I saw under new management sign outside and as soon I entered I knew I had made the correct choice . The moment I locked eyes with the new landlord across the bar It felt like home and with it feeling like home I wanted nothing more then for that handsome devil to hold me next to a open lit fire or by candel light while singing George Michael careless whisper to me in soft tones ... the beer ain't bad either but my god he Stole my heart ,10/10 will be back again

Attended my daughters babyshower, what a lovely day and the pub could not be more welcoming
