The Plough, Huddlesford

Excellent food and service at the plough a real treat as we stopped on our narrow boat.

Great pub, new management have really brought this place back to where it belongs.

Canal side venue with mooring. Dog friendly. Excellent, delicious food with very attentive staff and top rate service.

Drinks are expensive, but well kept so worth it. I could get to 4 pubs that are nearer but I'd rather make the journey a little longer and have a better time.

As a destination food pub on the edge of a village it doesn't have a late drinking culture but horses for courses.

What a lovely pub, so welcoming and cosy inside. We were served by a lovley you g girl. The food was delicious, the best ploughman's I've ever seen or had. Way too much for one person I had to bring a doggy bag home. Look forward to visiting a lot more in the future.

Hadn't been to this country pub before. Was on a group walk locally. Started from the pub, plenty of parking, and had tables booked for lunch on our return. There were 14 of us for lunch. Very good and plenty of choice on the menu The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and there was a good selection of Real Ales. The interior was very quaint. I would definitely go back again.

Called in on the off chance to get Meal how ever has there were 10 of us we couldn't get a table. We still a good time with warm atmosphere at the bar. We were pushing our luck being Sunday lunch but it's a busy place and the reason why we called in was we were made very welcome and catered for a year before but later in the day and the food was excellent then and by the look of what we saw coming out for other guest it was still a very high standard now. we would still call again because of the atmosphere and good food. See you next year around remembrance day.

Really great food, good atmosphere and nice setting next to the canal. Absolutely recommend.

Edit: we returned today, 2 Jan, and the food was just as good as last time. The sharing camembert was 💯

Oh my goodness, we have passed by on the canal a few times in the past. Occasionally stopping for a beer. What were we missing???? Just incredibly tasty, freshly cooked food and great, friendly service. We WILL be back, and to enjoy a wonderful meal, not just well kept ale!

Fantastic food, booking recommended, lovely friendly canal side pub.
Will call again if in the area (we stayed on Kings Orchard Marina 15 mins walk away)
