Went here a couple times on our recent trip to London (March 2022). Had dinner on our first night in town and beers on another night. Very nice staff, good food.

First night one of their regulars was playing piano and next visit they were having a trivia game night. Great local pub, lots of fun. Will visit again when we get back to London.

This pub has such a unique and cozy atmosphere! The man who played the piano is just unique and amazing! So talented!
Baked Camembert was good, BIT please add more jam! Otherwise it’s a bit oily without it. Drinks were good as well, but a bit strong haha

I don’t tend to write many poor reviews because I avoid places that have either poor reviews or I don’t like the look of.

This place occupies a corner location in an attractive area, so I was enticed in. Some nice outdoor seating but a little chintzy decor indoors.

My pint of Fuller’s Pride tasted poorly conditioned from the start but got worse as it warmed a little. Had to leave half, explaining to the staff how poor it was and that the same pint at the nearby Victoria was excellent. “Sorry about that” was the only offering.

A notice in the window advertises staff vacancies but sadly those they have currently are a little nonplussed - I won’t go into the reasons why I came to this conclusion.

Suffice to say that there are great pubs in this area but sadly this is a poor choice.

Cool people working there. I ate some fish and chips. Nice spot very close to Edgware road.

Here at the end of a sunny London Sunday @8 in the evening. Local pub with interesting selection of small plates, mains. Weekend brunch and Sunday roast.

On Sundays a singalong with piano of pre-WWII classics which everyone in the front of the pub sings with skill and gusto.
No where could be more English!! Pianist very skill with interesting arrangements. Featured soloists as well.

A little gem in Connought village in the heart of London.
Welcoming staff, nice selection of beers minimalist decor.
We had Sunday roast, not one of my favourites, but there are plenty other alternative options in menu.

A lovely traditional English pub, with extraordinary interior mixed with historical pictures and old antiques, it’s quite famous place for it’s Thai food, just turned in for a drink with my friends and we had a great service, A+++

For a traditional British pub experience, sink a pint at Connaught Street’s local - The Duke Of Kendal. This charming corner pub is the perfect place to perch at the bar with a drink or enjoy some classic British fare in the handsome dining area. Catch sport on the big screens, challenge yourself in the weekly pub quiz or sing along to the well-pounded piano. The ideal spot to soak up the afternoon sun after a day of shopping.
