The Derby Inn

Booked the wrong date in error through Booking.com and the hotel was fully booked on the correct date. Cancelled and was told we could get a refund by the hotel. After numerous emails that were ignored we received no refund, I at least thought we would have received a reply, especially as Booking.com had asked them to refund.

After submitting this review the manager got in touch (thanks)
But after emailing him as he requested I have heard nothing and my review seems to have disappeared. I have given this review on my customer experience with the Derby Inn and as yet have not had an agreeable solution, so I stand by my 1 star rating.

I was at a private function in the lounge area. It had its own bar which was opened up as our room got busier. There were some great tunes coming through the dressers do we were very happy! Reasonable prices and really nice surroundings.

Popped in for a couple of drinks a d to enjoy some live music. Definitely will go back.

Visiting town for first time. This pub was recommended to us. Made to feel very welcome by staff and regulars. Saturday night, busy but some lad offered to go get me a chair while I waited for husband at the bar. Good singer on at after 9 who had the whole place singing along with him.
So thank you, The Derby Inn, staff and customers for giving us a good experience of night life in Barrow

Too small needs better bar can't move when you come in for people waiting for drink

Don’t even deserve one star… had a booking with guaranteed late arrival and arrived with the doors shut and know one answering the two different numbers… this was also when it was snowing and minus degrees… will ensure that anyone that I know will never use this hotel ever again…

Top live music venue....great ales....great crowds....and....it's local
