A little bit dated in appearance but was adequate for my needs.staff very friendly bar staff were very knowledgeable about the beers, room was basic but the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in value a little over priced for the room.

Visited on a Sundat for lunch. Slow kitchen service, took 45 minutes for three main courses. No apology or to ask us the food was OK. Good job it was! Tasty neat and perfectly cooked veg. Get more kitchen staff and we will be back.

Fabulous selection of real ales Food a bit pricey but good. Place could probably do with tarting up a bit but for eating and drinking you can't knock it.

Booked in for Sunday lunch sadly waited nearly an hour before being served we had the lamb rolled in sausage meat stuffing, lamb was lovely but only a small amount of meat served and vegetables came separatley that were not very hot Sadly disappointed. Staff pleasant so I’m guessing the issue is in the kitchen.

Great selection of vegan food. Everything I've had is clearly made in house and really nice with big portions.

Could do with an upgrade decor wise. Not a huge variety of drinks, but ok to start the night off
