Good service, no delays. The shared bites at the start were tasty, large canapes size. The starter also very good, decent size again. My wife had the pizza which was also good. No complaints.

Better value for money than the Kings Head down the road, similar taste experience.

Various deals such as 50% off or 2 for 1 on pizza at various times.

Love this pub! Beautiful decor, amazing big garden, pretty green surroundings. The food is fantastic, with lots of locally sourced ingredients. More than your classic pub food, they have a really eclectic menu (although they have some pub classics too!) The cocktails are also very delicious and they have a large range of English wine and beer, most of it from local Kent vineyards and breweries.
They call themselves Elite pubs, and they love up to that title!

This pub has loads going for it. The venue itself is amazing. There is so much space, with a lovely indoors and a spacious outdoor terrace. Loads of parking too!

Most importantly they were able to fit us in for a Sunday roast while everywhere else wasn't accepting walk ins

The food is also amazing, with a great selection of vegeterian food and pizzas.

The only let down was the service and the price. While the staff were all very very nice, it took almost 25 minutes for the drinks to come, long after the food had arrived. The bill was also surprisingly on the high side as compared to other local pubs

Overall though highly recommended a visit.

Dropped in without a reservation for a Friday lunch and was accommodated even though they were fairly busy. The service was outstanding the food amazing. We ordered the fish and chips which we thoroughly enjoyed. They have a really lovely menu with a good wine selection as well. They also have outdoor seating with a play area and climbing frame for kids.

As a family we always choose Elite Pubs as a treat meal out, especially for the freshly made pizzas. They cater well for food allergies. We had never been to this establishment before but we will most definitely return.
Thank you to the friendly staff. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere, clean toilets, big beer garden and play area for the kids. Dog friendly too.

Fantasic venue would highly recommend, from the moment we arrived the staff was kind, friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing we had the Christmas Dinner set menu there was a lovely selection to choose from, but the main menu looked lovely as well. Pricey for drinks, but the food portion sizes are well worth the price and that they try and use local supplyers is a tick from me. You can taste its all good quality. Would defiantly be back again for a special occasion.

With the car park I would say when you see the restaurant slow down as it can be hard to see, you go passed and it's just on the left maybe some lighting and a sign when it's dark.

Well done to all the staff working so hard to make people's meals and experience enjoyable. And have a lovely Christmas.

What a lovely country pub! The weather was amazing which meant we got to enjoy the huge outdoor seating area. Great menu, good range of drinks (including local!) and friendly, quick service. We didn’t book so had one of the outdoor tables but also noticed they had an additional covered seating area plus some cool outdoor hut booths that you can book. They took orders near the door but the main seated area had table service and a lot of people passing seemed to have booked so I think it’s popular. Quality food and good service plus lots of seating options explain why this place must be popular. Plenty of parking too. Would definitely go back!

CHRISTMAS DINNER
Extremely disappointed on Christmas Day. I ordered goats cheese salad to start which was basically just a mound of salad and a few pieces of goats cheese. The Turkey roast was shocking. The Turkey looked like it had come out of a packet, the potatoes were burnt.. the carrots weren’t fresh, the stuffing was terrible. It was just awful. The waitress who served us was so lovely so I didn’t want to complain..especially as it was Christmas Day. Obviously it wasn’t her fault as she’s not the chef. Please see pictures attached need I say anymore. I use to come to this pub regularly when it was the woodman and the food was always amazing. I paid £200 for two of us for this meal and definitely wasn’t worth the money and certainly would not be visiting here again.
