Quick services, no bar queues or anything... 1st spoons I've seen monster loco in and I got very excited 😂
Food was great too, but I know some people opinions of nook food, so each to their own!
Also! There should be a meat eaters version on chilli! Having only a vegan option is a little unfair!.. you can cater to them, it's only fair we get the same treatment

Came here with a large party including 2 wheelchairs. The manager was super helpful, and found us an area by putting some tables together. He also came over with some coupon booklets for when we next visit. He was so helpful and kind even when a drink was spilt, and replaced it happily. This manager deserves a special mention and should be recognised by Wetherspoons. We would definitely come back. The manager and the staff generally seemed genuinely happy and cheerful and ready to help us in any way they could. An extremely good reflection of the brand.

Went for lunch after shopping trip today. One in the party ordered the Christmas dinner. When it arrived it had the meat peas, so many peas. burnt pigs in blankets mashed potatoes. When asked where the rest of the seasonal veg was the plate was taken away and came back with one very small carrot. After this none of the staff came to do the ‘is everything ok with the meal’ it was obvious they were skirting our table. Very disappointing meal after a really good start to our first weekend off in so long.

Everything you expect from a Weatherspoons! Great value food and excellent service.
We took a group of 14 for lunch on a busy Friday - the food all came at the same time and the staff were fantastic - thank you

Used to enjoy coming in this pub but have found in more recent times a big drop in standards.
IE. Tables left uncleared and uncleaned for long periods.
Waiting to be served at bar (even though no other customers were there, while staff milled about at the back, chatting, obviously aware that you are there)
Staff not aware of what ales they have on that day. ( dark or light)
No obvious customer service, very drab and univiting atmosphere.
Also standard of food served not good.
Some staff seem to be coasting along doing as little as possible, and there is little evidence of any good management in place.
What happened to this pub, it used to be excellent?
Not all the staff are lacking, some are good and try very hard, but are few.
Tim Martin would be shocked if he made a surprise visit here.
Disappointed and also ex client Kevin

Usually do a decent job at this at this wetherspoons however the past few times have been a shi*show. Awful customer service and when you try to tell them that they've done something wrong they will always beleive that there right, definitely not be going back here again. 😕

Good fish and chips options. Weekday dine in discounts (before 5pm) are a very reasonably priced deal!
