Great base for F1 with lovely rooms and food . Our room was very old and part of the pub (there are other more modern rooms in the garden.) It had a sloping floor, a bath in the room on a slight dais but also a toilet just behind the bath! There was a screen around the toilet. The room itself was very, very comfortable with plenty of space and lots of really lovely toiletries especially acquired for customers of the George Inn. Highly recommended.

Beautiful setting, clean/modern/smart accommodation, exceptional local food well presented. Staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is to much trouble. Plenty of car parking at rear of pud including a vehicle charge point.

The most incredible stay, the hotel was friendly, beautifully decorated and had the best food I've ever had. Plus it's dog friendly and the room has a heated floor! I will absolutely be back again.

Seafood sharing platter was quite good but I didn’t like the Indian main at all. The rice was soggy and the curry was not flavourful.

The full English breakfast was delicious, however, especially the sausage and baked beans.

The serving people were helpful and friendly. One kept touching my friend when she walked pass (many times) which I found amusing.

Nice pint if a little more pricey than other village pub's around.
The burger also becomes over priced by charging an extra £4 for cheese and bacon to be put on top.
The decor however is very good.

Fantastic location and hard working staff. Husband booked a night here for my Christmas gift.
We arrived during lunch serving and had a drink before heading out for a walk and drive to Stow-on-the-Wold. Great location for visiting local villages and lovely little walks close-by.
Slightly disappointed with the Sunday evening menu, we should have gone for Sunday lunch which looked amazing! The breakfast was huge and used good quality produce. Room was excellent, the bath was divine and the toiletries luxurious. Even the toilet roll was posh!!
The bar closed at 9pm and the room was quiet, we had a relaxing evening and great night sleep in the super-king size bed. The matress was fantastic and we slept so well.
We took out dog with us, this is a dog friendly hotel, but the rooms were fresh and didn't smell of dog.
Room had a nespresso machine and pods and well stocked with tea and coffee.
I would have liked hot chocolate sachets in the room for a night drink and a more flexible Sunday evening menu but I can't fault this hotel and highly recommend. The staff were amazing, friendly and worked so hard.

A fantastic, welcoming and cosey pub. We had the pleasure of staying next door to this smashing pub, and it made our stay even better. All the staff were super helpful and couldn't do more. We returned for breakfast and my wife and I can hand on heart say, it was the best full English breakfast we have ever had.

We will certainly be returning when we are back visiting family.

Keep up the good work.
