We had a lovely evening celebrating my 40th birthday, the staff were all fantastic and Sam on the carvery was so attentive and made the children smile when they were crying.
I would highly recommend the windrush to anyone looking for a group booking or a quiet meal. It really was fantastic

Our first visit to the Windrush Inn with our family who live locally. Delightful to see that this establishment takes food and customer service seriously. Friendly, attentive and efficient staff. All requests were handled in a professional manner. Quality of food was excellent. When you order a simple dish such as chicken wings and it comes out as it did here at the Windrush Inn it makes your whole lunch experience so much more pleasant. Because you can tell that whoever is in the kitchen as the head chef has actually good knowledge of food. We'll definitely eat here again.

Very nice staff, they seem grateful to have customers and treat everyone with respect. The food was amazing, other dishes on my table were 10/10 too! Also a cracking view from the back of the room if you get window seats.
I dont leave many reviews but they deserve one.

We walked in on a Sunday afternoon, hoping that we could get a late afternoon carvery. We were not disappointed! We got drinks and we’re seated straight away by the very helpful and accommodating staff, despite their clearly being extremely busy. The carvery was delicious, freshly cooked (roasted vegetable tart cooked to order for the vegetarian option) and we left feeling very full and ready for an afternoon nap!

Came here for an anniversary dinner.
staff are really welcoming and friendly, couldn’t do enough for you!
The food is amazing, had the wings and then ribs, both were brilliant! Well presented, flavourful and perfect sized portion.
Prices are fair and will be returning!

Lovely pub near Whitney. Decor inside is lovely and the Xmas decorations were very classy. I had bacon, brie and cranberry baguette with chips. The chips were proper thick cut, golden and crispy on outside and soft and fluffy in the middle...best pub chips I've had in a while. It's open plan so felt a little chilly so wear a warm jumper. There is a lovely black cat sauntering around but not a nuisance to anyone. I love cats but my son is allergic to them so just be aware of that. Staff were very friendly and I'd definitely visit again.

Nice pub, very friendly service, the food is good and well priced, however the meat on the Sunday roast is a bit on the small side... But also they did run out of a few bits that a couple of the people in our party had to wait... However overall it is good, but can do with some improvements.
