The Bouverie Bar & Restaurant

Officially re-opens on Friday 15th March after a pretty major refit. Try the ribs! Had a sneak preview.... Oh and the guest ales are worth a look too.

Never had the food, but it's a good local pub - good atmosphere, reasonable (not cheap, but not expensive) prices and friendly staff.

Ah, it is such a shame that this lovely pub is temporarily closed! I can only find a snap shot from the world cup 2018, but I have lived around the corner for a few years from this pub that my mates and I have always had a few pints! After it's renovation it became a lot more nicer that you should definitely have a visit! Nice pint of Guinness and friendly staff members! would recommend!

Really like this place. I used to go a lot years ago with work friends.
Popped in today after work, only stayed for one drink, but was taken aback by the price - £4.45 for a pint of lager. I know a lot of pubs are struggling and have difficulty because of the competition from the main UK chain of pubs, but it seems a bit excessive.
I have no complaints about the pub itself, just the prices.

Great little spot for a pint, great vibe and a lovely beer garden out the back, Staff all friendly, cannot fault it!

Staff were great ,unfortunately a drunk was loud and a pain , should have stopped serving him , place clean , no food available !

Pub located on its own. Good setting. Nice Drink. Recommend.

Very rude bar staff and the state of the bathrooms was unlike anything I've seen before mould all over the ceiling and walls and Pints weren't cheap either avoid at all costs
