Food is really tasty and massive portions, good atmosphere.

We came in on a busy Saturday night and luckily they managed to find us a table. The place was lovely and packed full. Food was excellent. We had a chicken, ham and mushroom pie, and a chicken & rib combo. Both were excellent. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be back.

Went there today with the family. The food was reasonably priced, decent and you get huge portions. Unfortunately, the serving staff were as friendly as a punch in the face. Eyes were rolled at simple requests and the general attitude was that customers are a nuisance. Probably won't go again

Went in for a Sunday lunch while visiting friends in the area. Absolutely blown away with the quality and quantity of their locally sourced beef.
Staff were happy and helpful.
Nice to see real pubs still exist.

My sister just moved to the village so we was acquainting ourselves with the local pub. The food was delicious, portions are huge, good quality and so tasty. The atmosphere was lovely and staff really friendly. Thank you, we will be returning x

Thought we would try for a Sunday roast in the evening, wasn't expecting them to still be serving them or have anything left from lunch but they did! Pleasantly surprised. Wow what a meal! Huge portion and great value for money. Super tasty gravy and everything cooked to perfection. We will be back soon.

Just love this place, if you are in the area you have to try here. Have been for food before but had a Sunday dinner this time. It was gorgeous, lovely gravy too. Vegetables are separate and tbh you don't have much room to put them on your plate !!
The prices are good and check out the Christmas menu, 3 courses for £20 can't go wrong. 👍😎
