For maybe one of meany time that I have been there the food wasn't great it.
Sunday and had a roast. Beef was well cooked but extremely chewy, veg wasn't good, mash had a strange fish taste and Yorkshire pudding just tasted stale ...shame is usually a nice place to eat.

Warm welcome and good food. Very large hunters chicken. I surprised myself by finishing it! Good prices.
Hope to return when next in the area.

Very enjoyable evening. Good food, reasonable prices and excellent service. Limited choice of bitter the only drawback.

We came in this afternoon for lunch my, my first roast dinner here. I could not fault it. Big portions, well cooked. We were taken to our table by a lovely girl and we sat by a big open fire. Service was fantastic even though they were obviously very busy. Looking forward to my next visit.

We popped in for breakfast on the off chance with our family on Sunday. We were greeted with a warm welcome and friendly smile. Our granddaughter was given some colouring pads and a baby chino!
We all had a really good full breakfast with all the trimmings. Very good quality for the price. We will be back again soon!

We come in for coffees with our mum twice a week. Dan and the team always make us feel welcome. We bring our mum over from the nursing home around the corner and they are always so good with her.
Nice hot coffee’s!

My wife and I came in for dinner tonight. We had steak and chicken burger, cooked beautifully. Sat in front of the roaring fire chatting to other locals. Lovely pub, will be back.

Lovely family friendly, dog friendly pub with staff that make you feel welcome, we were having a random conversation about visiting Poland and a member of the team was able to advise on best airports and times of year. The locals were very friendly too, which always helps with a great pub atmosphere.
