Loved this pub but it seems a little lost at the moment.
Yesterday evening the two bar staff appeared to be joined at the hip - abandoning the bar to make hot drinks together, then abandoning the bar again to disappear in to the cellar together. Hilarious yet odd - bless 'em.

Friday night fish and chips are to die for. Quiz night is great fun. Great food. Great staff. Highly recommended

First time I've visited this pub for years, due to the nature of the oddball who used to run it.

Fleeting visit, but much more pleasant, served by & chatted to a very pleasant young man called James. Will definitely return.
