Decor very good, food merely satisfactory but expensive. However service was atrocious. Seated at 5.40pm ... order taken at 6pm ... food came at 6.50pm. Had Farmers ultimate cheese & bacon burger and my wife had Norfolk lamb rump. We were the only two customers in the restaurant. Waitress was nice & apologetic. I refused to pay the 10% service charge.

Went with a last minute booking on a weekday early evening (around 17:15), courteous on the phone and for the duration of our dinner. We sat indoors and it was beautifully decorated with the window mirrors, chandeliers. The bathrooms had a really cool wallpaper (at least in the female toilets). Everything was clean and nicely spaced out. The staff were accommodating with our requests for my father's birthday and extra cutlery.
All our food tasted great and good value for money. Everyone was stuffed at the end. We had parmesan truffle puffs, chicken supreme, moroccon lamb, monkfish scampi, mixed veg, chocolate torte and tiramisu.

Beautiful, friendly pub with great food. Really good value for money too. Can't recommend highly enough. Booking in advance is recommended.

We booked for Sunday lunch which I have to say was delicious. Service was excellent and staff were friendly. However we were not comfortable eating out meal with dogs wandering about. I wonder could they make one area of the restaurant dog free?

We stopped off for a bite to eat at lunchtime and were blown away by the quality and flavour of the food! The beef Ragu was to die for and the pork chop special was stunning. Congratulations to the chef. Would highly recommend 🥰

Aweful experience - went with family for a Christmas get together. No atmosphere, you wouldn’t know it was Christmas in 2 weeks. Won’t do single roast, you have to share. Food came out cold & meat was still bleeding. Desert is cheesecake or sorbet. The young staff tried really hard. They were kind & friendly, but that doesn't make up for poor service, bad food, few choices & blatant misleading when advertising it as something special when it’s not. It actually spoilt my day.
