Staff were really lovely and friendly. I really liked the vibe and decor inside. Food was decent but super cheap !

OK pub. Good range of beers. Food pub grub. No sophistication but filling. Ketchup generally improves the flavour. Seriously, you get what you see and enjoyable for it.

Went for a family Christmas dinner yesterday 21 of us, from walking in to completion the staff could not do enough for us.
13 had the Xmas dinner menu, which was outstanding and the rest went with the normal menu which to say the least is extensive and that food was the same quality.
Everyone had there fill and it was decided then that next year we will be back there for our family Christmas dinner, and a lot are looking forward to going at other times too, so watch this space (and we watched the first World Cup match too )so was a perfect Family get together.

A good choice of beers can be had, the friendly team can be very accommodating, a good mix of age within customers, Harry is like a human dynamo, the team have a good rapport, always enjoy a visit to the Arrow

Went there with the family for a meal. Had a great time and will definitely be returning. The atmosphere in the pub was brilliant and the staff couldn’t do more to help us. Thank you to all the staff

Great choice of real ale. Excellent menus for tasty pub grub. Friendly staff and generally nice friendly pub in Arnold Nottingham. Will keep visiting even though we live miles away.

Very disappointed having visited on Christmas Day for dinner. We waited outside until the pub was opened at 12.00 for our 12.00 booking with a crowd of other people then walked in blindly with no one to greet us, wondering where we were to be seated. A member of staff then raced over and said we had a table upstairs. The area downstairs looked nice, bright and welcoming. Upstairs was very dreary looking and the lights were turned off except for some fairy lights. We also felt as though we were away from the festive celebrations. I asked if we were able to move closer to the balcony so we had a view of the pub and could feel more included in the festivities, but we were told that we couldn’t sit there because we had already been placed even though it was an hour until someone else arrived and other tables were also available in our time slot.
The staff were hospitable when serving our starter, main and desert, however I did question why there was no mash potato and a lack of trimmings/different veg on each of our plates. we were told that the different mains didn’t come with these, one a Turkey dinner and one a nut roast. I find it strange that we went for a Christmas dinner that we paid a lot of money for and why it would leave us disappointed because they couldn’t provided the basics for a Christmas dinner. We left after 1 hour 30 minutes, having eaten most of our meal, but dissatisfied with the lack of food on our plates. No atmosphere at all upstairs and not how we thought Christmas Day would be spent.
