Me and my partner both had the mix grill, the chips, egg and peas were delicious. However the steak was well over done, we asked for medium rare. The sausages were old and you couldn't cut through them. No onion rings at all, pineapple, gammon were black. But the worst was the chicken, it looked like it was covered in a jelly slime. I ate what I could, showed a member of staff who gave us free drinks as an apology and was very lovely. Unfortunately I wouldn't go back for food. The staff are very busy bless them, they are lovely. However just walking past the toilets to leave, the smell of strong urine is overbearingly bad. I think it's a lovely building with lovely staff, I think the chef needs sacking in all honesty. I wouldn't send out food like that, it's shameful.

Staff very friendly and helpful
Beer amazing 😁
Food spot on definitely go again
Only downside is that the building is looking a bit tired 😴 and needs some sprucing up inside and out but that said ideal of a quick beer an some lunch
Good access to main roads and plenty big car park
9/10

Able to use the green king app to order and pay here if you want to. Reasonably quiet at around 6pm on a Saturday. Staff are friendly and approachable. Multiple levels to the dining areas, quiet areas, out the way areas, near the bar areas. Food was nice and everything arrived very quick via the app

I felt from the outset that the staff were welcoming and helpful. They had specifically reserved a table in a quiet spot in the bar area so l could enjoy a meal there with my rather large hound Loki.
The menu is reasonably varied and not too expensive
I didn't find the portions that large - certainly fine for me but perhaps not for someone with a huge appetite!
There is a massive car park.
A bus stop nearby.
Plenty of seating outside - when it's warm enough again
The lay out, facilities and access is suitable for wheelchair users

We visited last Sunday for a family get together.
It was 14 years since we last went to the Snipe and it was just as good if not better.
The food was excellent and well presented and the staff gave brilliant service.
When we come home again we will return......thank you.

The main course was lovely and cooked really well. Great quality and reasonable prices, the service from Katie was fantastic she was so friendly and inviting. The puddings were a bit disappointing to be honest, we were waiting for around 50 minutes from ordering to receiving them and the crumble was luke warm at best. Other than the puddings everything was brilliant and that is the only reason I knocked one star off.

Very busy, which is always a positive sign. Ordered at the table through the app, service was quick and staff were lovely.
Had pie, mash, peas - too much Pastry not enough filling in pie, mash was frozen/microwave as came in a square and prob 2 spoons peas if that - could have done with a few more to balance it out.
That being said I will go back and try something different on menu - burgers looked good!
