Great micropub with a fantastic atmosphere and craic. Had a pint of Devils Horse vy Grasshopper which is a great stout ifnit's on. The owner was vringing more in when I was there so it must be alright! Would tecommend to abyone in the area looking for a beer.

Lovely little snug micro pub, real ales and gin, and a lager to appease those that dont like real beer.
Service and prices are great, clientele is good too, no tv or darts, or pool, real beer drinkers enjoying a.chat, proper stuff.

I like this place, it feels like a cross between a bar and someone's house! The pricing structure means that pints all cost the same, but they only take cash. It can also get very busy, and because it isn't very big, gets cramped quickly

As a regular in the Squire's sister pub, decided it was an overdue visit. Not disappointed. Similar ales on the hand pumps to what we get at the Byrons Rest, back of the bar displaying its range of gins etc. Bar tables having bowls of snacks etc and James, new "boss" behind the bar, kindly brought out pork pie for our group to nibble on with the excellent pint. Definitely on the list for returning to on our next adventure in that neck of the woods!

Excellent micro-pub with 3 real ales, Guinness, Carling and cider amongst other offerings. Shame it was closing at 10pm on a Saturday evening when returning for seconds after visiting the porterhouse.
