Black Lion

Visited on Sunday especially to watch the live band. I was not disappointed. "So What" were one of the best I've seen in a while. The sound quality was excellent, the skill of the musicans was top notch and the atmosphere was great. Everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun. I hope they do many more of these events as I will definitely be there. Another reason to visit to add to the amazing food. 👍🏻👍🏻

We went here for lunch one day and tea the next. Pizzas are excellent. Friendly service and our dog was welcome too

Absolutely disgusting, the bar area didn't look too bad when we first walked in.
Table was covered in god knows what obviously hadn't been cleaned. The toilets smelt and looked like they haven't seen a mop or bleach in about 5 years. Beer wasn't too bad just really didn't want to drink it after visiting the toilets and thinking what the rest of the place (that the public eye cant see) could be like I personally will not be coming back

Great food selection. Not your usual run of the mill menu but thought has gone into it as well as craft because they certainly know how to cook an as a bonus really dog friendly

Best steak pie, chips, gravy & peas...not to mention the excellent service. Worth the 5,000-mile flight from Colorado.
