The Linford Arms - JD Wetherspoon

Typical Weatherspoons pub but in a pleasant and interesting building. Almost always seems full but there's usually dinner to sit if you search round for it. Quality of food is reasonable and as usual very well priced. Staff are friendly and helpful. With a visit for a value meal.

Great location and prices, food is great but, we struggled to find a table that was clean, the tables were cleared but not wiped. Being wood and having no beer mats made them sticky and horrible. The chairs being cloth were sticky and stained. And the carpet needs cleaning! Not a good look for the usual high standard of Weather spoons pubs!!

Food is very pleasant and the building is very welcoming. Shame that the staff let it down, particularly the lady (possibly man) behind the bar with the short hair, extremely rude, clearly doesn’t enjoy working with the public. Think she needs to find a new job. A night security guard would be a a good fit.

I was at the bar to get a drink and u got ignored by two members off staff a lady then asked me if u was waiting u said yeah and she served and and apologies for my wait. Beer was flat and tangy

Although we live in Wolverhampton we go at least once a month to The Linford Arms. Last night the food was excellent as normal with very competitive prices unfortunately the barmaid gave the distinct impression she hated her job. When ordering she had a scowl on her face and on bringing the food she banged the plates down on the table. One meal was delayed and eventually we had to ask what was happening and were told it had been wrongly ordered twice. The three of us had nearly finished our food before the fourth meal arrived. A man which we took to be the Manager apologised and gave us a full refund. We will continue to visit The Linford Arms and we applaud Wetherspoon's customer care policy but can we ask that the barmaid attend the next customer care training as she clearly missed the last one.

It's a weatherspoon pub, large variety of drinks, friendly staff and spacious, can get busy at meal times & evenings.

Looking for a restaurant or cafe that has consistently good food? I'd recommend JD Wetherspoon. I had the five been chilli with a drink and it was perfect. I couldn't get the app to work and staff really helpful and sorted my order. Sat outside and enjoyed some people watching. Will come again

Great Wetherspoons, friendly staff, especially David took the time to have a quick chat with us. Nice food and good beer. As it was nice and sunny we sat in the outside area at the front (which is no smoking). There's an outside area to sit in at the back if you want to smoke.
