Exceptional food. Spotted The White Lion on a top 12 places to have roast in Norwich and we were not disappointed. The tastiest slow cooked pork belly I've ever eaten. Delicious veg and gravy to boot. Highly recommended. So unsuspecting, it's made our Sunday. Great beer selection too.

Fantastic first visit for a Sunday Roast, greeted with a welcoming atmosphere. Pub was full of regulars, families and the young discerning crowd. Lovely selection of real cask ales on offer. Exceptionally efficient and friendly service on top of that. Will be back in the near future for a bit of bar billiards. An underrated spot in what is often a forgotten but characterful part of the city.

Went here yesterday for Roast Lunch the meal was outstanding! Really delicious perfect roast potatoes along with everything else. I read the reviews and this did not disappoint. The best in Norwich without a doubt!

Great friendly place with really good food - kind of range from Beef stroganoff to spicy curries, all very nice. Plenty of seats although very busy on a Friday and Saturday, you can reserve a table. Plenty of beer chooses with knowledgeable staff. Nothing not to like.
