We stayed in Settle for a few days in March this year and the Talbot Arms was a short walk away from our accommodation. The staff were friendly and welcoming, they had a good range of local craft ales with the standard beers, wines and spirits. The food was delicious, it was well cooked and didn't take too long to get our table. I had a blue cheese burger and my other half had scampi and chips. We also had pudding as you can see from the photos, we shared two puddings being that we both love a pudding it was a Bailey's cheese cake and lemon tart both cake with the option of custard or ice cream.
All in all it was a lovely meal in a cosy pub with a nice atmosphere, would recommend to a anybody staying in Settle.

My husband and I called in after a long walk for a drink, we got served almost as soon as we walked in. The atmosphere felt good, the pub was clean and the food smelt good which enticed us to order. We both really enjoyed our meals 😋

A good spacious pub with a large beer garden. The food looked good and reasonably priced. Although I didn't have chance to sample the food due to time commitments, I did get to imbibe a couple of the nearby Settle Brewery beers that I thought were good. There are about 5 real ales on offer.
Good enough to plan a revisit in the next few days.

We went for a family meal after time spent at the Falconry Centre. There was a baby and toddler in our party and politely shown to our table. Given time to order our drinks and choose from the menu or specials board.
The food arrived hot not long after our orders were taken and cooked just as we asked. There was a steady stream of customers and a good choice of lagers, wines, cider and local beers. There is a large beer garden to the rear of the building. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. The building had plenty of character and would revisit when next in Settle. So thank you to both the owners and staff 👍👍

Had a lovely lunch today at Talbot Arms. Had earlier today been seated at a table at Ye Olde Naked Man Café were we then ignored and 2 other parties who were seated after us were served. When we asked to be served we were ignored. Staff at Talbot Arms were very welcoming and friendly. My husband and I are still full 6 hours later. Will definitely be coming back.

Lovely pub in the heart of town. Great selection of beers. I had the Guinness which was superb but there are many real ales to choose from. Haven't tried the food yet but seeing was being brought to other tables looked amazing.
