Great pub, popped in for a quick pint great selection of local beers on offer along with popular lagers. Very friendly landlady. Pop up kitchen on the Saturday night. Sat outside in the sun and watched the world go by.

Pasted through on a cycling holiday. Made very welcome which is more than be said about the pub across the road. Turned out to be folk night and was made to feel at home by the excellent musicians even though we couldn't play. Thank you for making 2 weiry cyclists very happy.

Brilliant pub & excellent staff. Well worth a visit. Entertainment on certain dates are also extremely good.

Fantastic atmosphere and great music on Saturday when I was there in the afternoon 👏👏

We attended the Halloween Family Night (I was playing in the band). A warm welcome, generous bar tab, lovely people and good range of drinks.

I’m a 16 year old with terrible anxiety and I’m currently getting help for it so it was really hard for me to go out but as soon as I walked in the atmosphere was really friendly and kind, everyone in there welcomed us and told us the best spot to go to sit down.

It’s a really nice area, I think it looked really beautiful with the added decorations like the carved statues :))!

As an added bonus despite not serving food at that time the person there offered to make some anyways which was beyond kind.

The drinks were delicious I really enjoyed them, would definitely come again, thank you for being so kind to me :))!!
